The first reason is experience. It's a common misconception that driving a boat is easy. Pulling a skier is an art, especially pulling a beginner. We’ve heard way too many stories of people having a bad experience their first time skiing, surfing, or wakeboarding. This is often due to poor instruction, amateur driving, or improper gear. All our charters have NCCP-certified coaches/drivers that will provide you and your crew with the right instruction to ensure you have an awesome day on the water.

The second reason is price. Once you add up all the hidden costs that come with renting a boat – like gas, insurance, and gear – renting often ends up being more expensive than one of our charters. Even if you own your own boat it is often better value to purchase one of our pre-paid packages.

We recommend bringing a towel, sunscreen (no aerosols please), swimsuit, sunglasses, water bottle, and any food or drinks you might want while out on the boat.

We are pretty lucky in this valley – there are very few days where we have to cancel charters due to inclement weather. If that's the case, we'll either provide you with a full refund or offer to reschedule your time on the water if that works for both of us.

We understand that stuff comes up but please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule. Bookings canceled less than 48 Hours will be marked as no shows and charged 50% of the booking price.

People of all ages are welcome. We’ve started children on trainer skis as young as 2.5 years old as well as taught people well over age 65. Obviously every person is different with regards to their fitness level and their comfort around water. So whether you're an expert, a neophyte, or prefer to just spectate from the boat, our coaches will make sure that you have a great time.

We have lots of families that have been booking charters for years and it’s always awesome to see children go from being afraid of the water one summer to ripping around the waves the next. It’s also common for parents to show up with no intention of going in the water and then become full-blown surf addicts after a couple of hours.

The sooner the better. We book on a first come first served basis. We are very busy all summer long, especially weekends and holidays. Early mornings and weekdays are a little more flexible but its always best to book as far in advance as possible.

Our general guideline is 30 minutes for each person doing a watersport. Most groups find the 2-3 hour packages fit their needs best. It all depends on the group. Some families like to go at a faster pace and get as many people behind the boat as possible, others like to take a more relaxed approach and stop for swim breaks or float in the boat and eat lunch.

We currently only allow a max of 8 adults plus a coach on the boat at one time. For groups larger than 8 we are able to swap people out half way through the charter.

Yes. We have quite a few customers who like to be picked up at their own dock or at their local community dock. Just remind us when booking.
